The examples that you brought up in regards to different kinds of humor in different social spheres were extremely relevant, and I really appreciate your criticism of those in the consent training chat making insensitive jokes and comments. These kinds of jokes are hard to poke holes in, and to try often means being the butt of more comments about "not taking everything so seriously" and "let people just joke around". However, as a female-bodied person, taking in these jokes often is what draws the line between those I feel I can trust and those I know I can't, or shouldn't. While it's all "in good fun" I appreciate you pointing these kinds of humor out: I agree that there is a line, and while it often is not meant with any kind of clear consequence for those that make these jokes, other people do notice. Also, your example of Dave Chappelle's dark humor is spot on. I really appreciate that he makes fun of people and situations with an underlying respect for those people and acknowledgement of them, and I really feel like this is what differentiates him from someone crossing these lines.
